WIIM
hiphop
Born and raised in Orange County, CA, WIIM, the Musician is a rising star in hip hop. With a mission to bring a unique flavor of creativity into mainstream hip hop, WIIM is making a name for himself as the perfect hybrid between underground and mainstream, combining catchy hooks and clever wordplay every time he touches an instrumental. WIIM’s passion for music began at a young age when he started writing at age 14. His mother recognized his talent and noticed his impeccable essays from school. At age 15, WIIM’s older brother, a producer before joining the military, sent him his first studio mic to start recording himself. After that, WIIM began recording almost daily, getting 1% better every time he hit the studio. Although the quality was not up to par back then, every baby step holds credit to the sound he has developed into today.
BLXST
hihop R&B
Blxst launched his music career with a hip hop collective called TIU Muzic, where garnered a local following. In 2014, Blxst produced "Do Yo Gudda (Remix)" by Hitta J3 (featuring Kendrick Lamar, YG, and Problem).[6] In 2015, he founded his label Evgle, and became a creative director for his graphic design and music videos.[7] Blxst released his first song "Who Would've Thought" in 2016, with a string of independent singles in 2018 including a collaboration with Eric Bellinger. In 2019, he released his first solo hit single called "Hurt", with millions of streams.[8] On August 28, 2019, he released a collaboration EP with Bino Rideaux titled Sixtape.
Saweetie
hiphop/rap
Her debut extended play (EP), High Maintenance (2018) was met with lukewarm reception and failed to chart. Her second, Icy (2019) moderately entered the Billboard 200 and spawned the single "My Type", which marked her first entry—at number 21—on the Billboard Hot 100 and received quadruple platinum certification by the RIAA. Her 2020 single, "Tap In" and her 2021 single, "Best Friend" (featuring Doja Cat), both peaked within the chart's top 20, and are preceding the release of her forthcoming debut studio album, Pretty Bitch Music. At the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, the latter song earned a nomination for Best Rap/Sung Performance, while Harper herself was nominated for Best New Artist. Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper was born on July 2, 1993, in Santa Clara, California, to former video vixen Trinidad Valentin, who is of Filipina and Chinese descent,[5] and Johnny Harper, who is African American.[6][7] She grew up in Hayward[8] and later in Sacramento, attending Merrill F. West High School in Tracy[9] and graduating from Monterey Trail High School in Elk Grove.[10][11][12][13] She began writing music at age 13. After high school, she attended San Diego State University, where she studied communication and business before transferring to the University of Southern California, where she completed her degree and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication.[14] After graduating in 2016, she began to focus on her rap career
